How it works?

DAEMON Tools USB allows users to connect to remote devices that were shared on the servers. So, to evaluate the functionality of the program, there should be at least two copies of one license on different computers. One DAEMON Tools USB will be representing a server, and other one will be working as a client.

Note: One DAEMON Tools USB can be used as a server and as a client at the same time.

The work starts on the server - the computer that is going to open the access to some devices. To make your computer acting like server, you need just to share certain device. The sharing is always performed on the Local Devices tab.

How it works?

If the device is shared, the client is able to see and use it. Acting like client, you need to add a server, using its network name or IP-address and port, and choose the device from the list. Then you need to connect to the device, and you will be able to use it like it is connected to your PC. The list of servers and their shared devices are on the Remote Devices tab.

How it works?

Any time server can stop sharing and client can disconnect from the device and remove the server.
